The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) is the State of Indiana's lead economic development agency. The IEDC focuses its efforts on growing and retaining businesses in Indiana and attracting new business to the State of Indiana. The IEDC is focused exclusively on economic development and has incorporated all state entities with economic development responsibilities into its organizational structure. http://www.in.gov/iedc/.

The $105 million Indiana Investment Fund is another tool for Indiana businesses. The Indiana Investment Fund was designed by Indiana Public Employees Retirement Fund in conjunction with Credit Suisse's Customized Fund Investment Group ("CFIG") to develop a diversified, high-quality portfolio of venture capital and growth capital direct investments, co-investments and fund commitments, primarily in the state of Indiana. The Indiana Investment Fund I will invest in firms doing business in Indiana, companies looking to expand or move operations to Indiana, or firms that will invest in Indiana. The Indy Partnership is a privately-funded, not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the economic growth of the Indianapolis Region which includes Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Monroe, Shelby and Tippecanoe counties.
