Dream It. Do It. Indiana is part of a national initiative to promote the advanced manufacturing and logistics industries – and their related careers – to a high-school audience. Indiana uses two primary resources to promote the tech-heavy careers available in the industry today and debunk outdated stereotypes:

DreamItDoItIndiana.com: A website featuring videos, games, and trivia that encourages students to poke around, learn about the industries, and see if a career in AML is a good fit. In addition to an inside look at Hoosier companies, the site features 11 “Hot Jobs,” their salaries, and the industry members across the state that offer these “hot” positions.

Dream It. Do It. Indiana Champions: A network of high school educators, counselors, and administrators charged with “championing” the industries and the related coursework among high school students, faculty, and parents.  Conexus Indiana manages a network of 109 Champions and works in partnership with EcO15 in Southeast Indiana, which manages another 29.

  • Engage students and fellow educators to build an understanding about AML careers;
  • Recruit students to participate in education programs that foster AML skills;
  • Disseminate information and marketing resources to increase AML  career awareness;
  • Make Dream It. Do It. information available to students and parents through career fairs, field trips, mentoring opportunities, and other planned events during the school year; and
  • Participate in Conexus' Educator Seminar Series to learn about industry "from the source."
