INDUSTRY COUNCIL

In 2011, Conexus Indiana and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation joined forces to create the Indiana Aerospace & Defense Council (IADC).  The IADC is modeled after the successful Logistics Council created by Conexus Indiana in 2008. The Logistics Council brought together industry leaders and solicited their input on a comprehensive strategic plan to strengthen the sector, and the IADC is doing the same. The IADC serves as a structured forum for executives and thought leaders from Indiana companies, research institutions, and military installations to explore industry-specific issues and challenges, and ultimately identify workable solutions to better position the state to meet its long-term goals of creating job growth and increasing state and local revenue. 

Ryan Metzing is Project Director for the IADC.  Ryan is an attorney with Krieg DeVault in Indianapolis, where he is a member of the firm's Business, Litigation, and Labor & Employment practice groups. Courtney Zaugg serves as Director of Industry Research for the Council.
