Mark Miles

Mark Miles is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, Inc. ("CICP"), a regional coalition of the CEO's of Central Indiana's most significant employers and leaders of universities with substantial research operations who seek to foster growth and opportunity throughout the region, advocate policy directions and engage in collaborative efforts to address issues facing the region. CICP encourages region-wide planning and goal setting in both the public and private sectors that recognize the interdependence of the entire area. CICP also develops objective data and analyses that lead to an informed consensus about activities that help Central Indiana businesses to become more globally competitive.
An early accomplishment of CICP was the creation of the Central Indiana Life Science Initiative - BioCrossroads. Included among BioCrossroads' accomplishments are: establishing the Indiana Seed Fund I; securing private commitments to launch the Indianapolis Predictive Health Project; establishing the Indiana Health Information Exchange and the Indiana Centers for Applied Protein Sciences. Miles serves as a member of the BioCrossroads board and its executive committee.

A 1976 graduate of Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana, Mark competed for the Wabash tennis team. During his senior year, he helped the Wabash squad qualify for the NCAA Division III National Championship tournament. In 1999, he was inducted into the Wabash Athletic Hall of Fame.
