Mr. Parish began his career with GM in 1977. He held several positions in Manufacturing including Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Supervisor, Area Manager - Production, and Manager, Quality and Reliability, Mr. Parish was appointed Plant Manager in 1991 assuming responsibility for the HT and Military Transmission Product Lines. In 1994, he was named as the Plant Manager of the AT/MT Transmissions. Mr. Parish was then selected as part of a five man team to study the Toyota Production System at a Toyota karitsu company in Japan. Upon his return, Mr. Parish was promoted to the position of Director, Manufacturing Engineering. In 2005 he gained the additional responsibility of Director, Manufacturing Engineering/ Manufacturing Services. In 2006 Mr. Parish was named Assistant General Director of Operations and in February 2007, was named General Director, Operations, Allison Transmission. As the division was sold from General Motors in August 2007, Mr. Parish was named Vice President, Operations
Mr. Parish holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and a Masters in Business Administration from Butler University.
