
INDIANAPOLIS (January 28, 2025) – Conexus Indiana today announced the promotion of Bryce Carpenter to Chief Operating and Strategy Officer and Molly Zentz to Vice President of Communications. These leadership changes further position the organization to advance its strategic goals and strengthen its impact on Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics (AML) sectors.

Bryce Carpenter, Chief Operating and Strategy Officer
In his new role, Carpenter oversees daily operations for Conexus and leads the execution of the organization’s strategy, as outlined in its new 6-year strategic plan, Conexus 2031: Empowering Bold Industry Transformation.
Carpenter also serves as Senior Vice President of Industry Development for Conexus’ parent organization, the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP), where he works to strengthen Indiana’s economy through strategic partnerships with the state’s economic development organizations.
Carpenter brings nearly a decade of experience at Conexus Indiana, having joined the organization as Director of Industry Engagement in 2016. In 2019, he led the formation of what is now the Conexus Indiana Advanced Industries Council, a network of 180 AML leaders committed to sustaining the economic growth of the industry. Promoted to Vice President of Industry Engagement later that year and Senior Vice President in 2022, Carpenter supported the organization’s focus on industry growth through the development of industry partnerships, public-sector agreements and AML sector research and expansion.
Before joining Conexus, Carpenter spent more than a decade in business development, fundraising and political communications, having served as a party chairman. Carpenter holders a bachelor’s degree in government with a minor in history from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.

Molly Zentz, Vice President of Communications
As Vice President of Communications, Zentz now leads Conexus Indiana’s marketing and communications strategy, promoting the organization’s mission and elevating the profile of Indiana’s AML sector. Zentz oversees the design and execution of strategic marketing programs and integrated communications efforts, ensuring the organization’s messages resonate with diverse stakeholders and amplify Conexus’ thought leadership within the industry.
Zentz joined Conexus Indiana as Director of Communications in 2022, managing internal and external communication channels to promote Conexus, its industry sector and the organization’s objectives. She was promoted to Senior Director in 2024, where she expanded her leadership in strategic planning, branding and public relations to support statewide engagement and organizational growth.
Previously, she served as Head of Marketing for agricultural technology firm Solinftec, where she directed an international team to increase brand awareness and refine the company’s narrative. Her career also includes roles at Indiana Farm Bureau Inc., Angie’s List, PANBlast (formerly BLASTmedia) and Raybourn Group International.
Zentz holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Indianapolis and is accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America.
