Elizabeth Hagerman, Ph.D., is Chief Innovation and Strategy Officer. She leads Conexus Indiana’s work to support Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics industries’ integration of next-generation technologies, including automation, artificial intelligence, electrification and 3D printing, for increased productivity and business growth. Previously, she was vice president for Rose-Hulman Ventures at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. At Rose-Hulman Ventures, Hagerman led a unique model in higher education that brings together staff and students with technology-based companies to design prototypes, refine the design of existing products, and expand current engineering capabilities. Prior to Rose-Hulman Ventures, she spent five years with Baxter Healthcare working with physicians, medical affairs, research & development and marketing teams on new products in the regenerative medicine space. Hagerman was named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40” class in 2018, and holds a doctorate and master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
