Conexus Indiana today launched Conexus Rising 30, a new program that will annually recognize, celebrate and activate a new cohort of 30 young advanced manufacturing and logistics (AML) professionals under the age of 30 who are distinguishing themselves as the movers and makers of the future.

The advanced manufacturing and logistics industries employ more than 500,000 Hoosiers and are the critical drivers of the Hoosier economy, accounting for one-third of the state’s gross domestic product. As part of its mission to accelerate, promote and grow Indiana’s global competitive advantage, Conexus Indiana developed Rising 30 to celebrate Indiana’s next generation of change-makers who are instrumental in the industries’ continued evolution to the technology sectors of the future.

The Conexus Rising 30 signature program relies on nominations from mentors, colleagues and peers. Nominees must be 30 years or younger by the end of the 2020 calendar year, have a demonstrated impact on the AML ecosystem and be employed or have at least one work and learn experience/internship/co-op in the AML industries. Individuals who have direct employment with an AML company are eligible for the award as well as those who have a positive impact on the industry from allied professions such as education, marketing, engineering, talent development, public sector or other roles.

Nominations for the first Rising 30 class are now being accepted through January 22, 2021.
