Kent Duncan

Conexus Indiana today announced the appointment of Nick Anthony, executive vice president and chief investment officer for Duke Realty, and Kent Duncan, head of Indianapolis Operations for the Defense Sector at Rolls-Royce, to the 19-member Conexus Indiana Board of Directors.

“To deliver on the Conexus mission to accelerate, promote and grow Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics economy, we have assembled a strong and diverse Board of Directors to guide our operations and focus,” said J. Mark Howell, president and CEO of Conexus Indiana. “With the addition of Nick and Kent, we continue to gain new perspective and expertise, and will benefit greatly from their more than 60 years of collective industry experience.”

Both Anthony and Duncan will replace long-time board members from Duke Realty and Rolls-Royce, respectively.

Anthony leads Duke Realty’s acquisition and disposition activities, in addition to the company’s joint venture business. His leadership at Duke has led to his involvement in more than $20 billion of capital transactions since joining Duke as an accountant in 1989. Prior to his current role, Anthony was vice president of Portfolio Management, and responsible for the overall management of the Dugan joint venture, a $1 billion industrial portfolio between J.P. Morgan and Duke Realty. Anthony has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Anderson University and sits on the board of the Anderson University Endowment Investment Committee and the Center for Leadership Development.

As Head of Indianapolis Operations for Rolls-Royce’s Defense Sector, Duncan is responsible for four manufacturing plants that employ more than 800 people. In this role, Duncan’s focus is to ensure Rolls-Royce delivers a world-class supply chain that is globally standard, lean and scalable. Across his 36-year career, Duncan has worked across both manufacturing and logistics with purchasing, operations and corporate strategy. Duncan is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology and Business Management and a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a master’s degree in Business.
