About the Event
Please join us on June 21 from 1-3 p.m. Eastern Time to hear from a successful startup founder based in Indianapolis and help us identify opportunities and barriers for enhancing hardtech entrepreneurship (product innovation with manufacturing and technology components) within Indiana.
The event aims to serve as a platform for hardtech entrepreneurs to become more connected with peers, potential mentors, and key assets within Indiana’s entrepreneurial ecosystem (i.e., venture capital, venture studios, incubators, accelerators, maker spaces, academic services, research & development centers, product development and prototyping services, etc).
Through a statewide assessment of Indiana’s startup ecosystem, we recently learned about the power of relationships and connections: regions with the highest levels of a metric called local connectedness accelerate their entrepreneurs twice as fast when measured by revenue growth.
Your participation will help us build a more robust ecosystem and elevate Indiana’s startup economy. You will have an opportunity to:
- Grow your network amongst peers that are expanding hardtech innovation in Indiana.
- Have a say in the economic development tools that will be developed by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) to solve various challenges and roadblocks faced by startup companies.
- Help us understand what resources and dollars are needed to advance entrepreneurship.
