INDIANAPOLIS (May 8, 2018) Conexus Indiana announced today the nine schools that won grants from the Pacers Foundation for their strong attendance at the Indiana Pacers 2018 STEM Fest. The Pacers Foundation donated $10,000 in total grants to the nine schools with the highest school community attendance at this year’s STEM Fest. The school with the highest attendance won $2,000 and the other eight schools won $1,000 each to support STEM in their classrooms. The winning schools include:
Conexus planned and co-hosted the Indiana Pacers STEM Fest 2018 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on February 11, 2018. The event was aimed at raising awareness of STEM careers, the technologies employed by those occupations and related academic pathways, including those in advanced manufacturing and logistics. The event drew attendees from 130 different schools from across the state.

The Pacers Foundation grants are to be utilized to purchase kits that are aligned to curricular or co-curricular STEM activities at each winning school.
